Data Controller

Under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Op. Dr. Fatih Ağdaş as the data controller, within the scope described below.

Personal Data We Process

Identity and contact data: the name, phone number and (optional) email address you share in the contact/appointment form or when you write to us.

Request data: the service you are interested in, your preferred date and the content of your message.

Health data (special category): complaints, health information or photos and details you send of your own accord for an online pre-evaluation. Such data is processed only with your explicit consent and only if you choose to share it.

Technical data: when you visit the site, standard server logs of the hosting infrastructure may record technical information such as IP address, date-time and browser type.

Purposes of Processing

Responding to and managing your contact and appointment requests.

Planning and carrying out the online pre-evaluation, examination and treatment process.

Informing and coordinating the process for international patients within the scope of health tourism (including airport pickup, accommodation guidance and interpreter support).

Fulfilling legal obligations and maintaining the quality of the service provided.

Method of Collection and Legal Bases

Your personal data is collected through the website contact/appointment form (via WhatsApp or email redirection), by phone, email and direct communication channels.

Processing relies on the legal bases under KVKK Art. 5, namely your explicit consent, the establishment or performance of a contract, the data controller's legal obligation and legitimate interests. For special categories of data such as health data, processing relies on your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 6.

Data Retention (No Server-Side Storage)

This website does not use a server-side database. When you submit the form, your information is not collected or stored on the site's servers; the generated message is sent by you through your own WhatsApp or email application.

Data you share with us after making contact is processed for as long as the purpose requires and within the retention periods prescribed by applicable health legislation; once the purpose no longer applies, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

Transfers and Cross-Border Transfer

When you send your request via channels such as WhatsApp or email, your message is transmitted through the infrastructure of the relevant service providers (e.g. WhatsApp/Meta or your email provider). As these providers' servers may be located abroad, your data may be processed outside Türkiye when you use such a channel; the same applies to international patients applying from abroad for health tourism.

The embedded Google Maps service loads Google infrastructure when the map is displayed. Your personal data is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes, apart from the operation of the stated channels and legal obligations.

Cookies

The site aims not to use marketing or analytics cookies beyond those required for essential functions. The embedded Google Maps frame may set cookies via Google when displayed. This section will be updated if analytics tools are introduced.

Data Security

Appropriate technical and administrative measures are taken to prevent unlawful processing of and access to your personal data and to ensure its safekeeping. As the site is published statically and no server-side form data is collected, the data-retention surface is minimal. The channels through which you continue communication (e.g. WhatsApp end-to-end encryption) also apply their own security measures.

Your Rights (KVKK Art. 11)

Under KVKK Art. 11 you have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it is; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred domestically or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request its deletion or destruction; request that correction/deletion be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to a result against you arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing. If you are located in another country, you may also have rights under your local data-protection laws.

How to Apply

To exercise your rights, you can send your requests to iletisim@drfatihagdas.com by email or in writing to the address above. Following verification of your identity, your request is concluded within the period prescribed by the KVKK (no later than 30 days). You also retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Board).

Changes

This Privacy & Personal Data Protection Notice may be updated in line with legislative changes and site practices. The current version is always published on this page.
